This week’s Sunday Snippet is from a short story that I finished a couple of hours ago. It’s for the March flash fiction contest on the Crystal Lake Publishing Patreon page. This month’s theme is “workplace horror”. My story is called 10 Things You Need to Know About Demons in the Workplace and Beyond (You won’t believe number 5)

8. Demons haven’t “infiltrated” corporate America.
While it’s true that almost all Fortune 500 companies now have demonic representation on their boards, this shift in the make-up of corporate leadership is not part of a secret plot by shape-shifting demonkind intent on taking over America’s business infrastructure. It’s just the inevitable result of integration of demonkind into society. But with research showing that 1 in 5 business leaders are psychopaths, perhaps we should welcome more demons into our nation’s boardrooms.
